This is a universal vent piece with a retaining lip, this piece fits on most fuel cans or jugs. It is a replacement piece for the original, if you don't have a hole for a air release vent you may install on and simply place this one in the hole. Just use a drill with the matching size. Vent caps are installed on gas cans to allow leak free fast flowing fuel. The retaining lip holds the vent into place after installation.
